No rational conversation can be had with someone who tries to argue Kobe had a great game 7 in the 2010 finals and then tries to argue LeBron was terrible in the 2013 finals and that 2000 Kobe had a better finals (15.6 points, 4 boards, 4 assists on 36% shooting)

There are a variety of factors at play here:
1. Yes Bosh and Wade were better defensively. That said Bron was still the go to guy for defense regardless of position. Some of us did recognize the defensive issues immediately and we were dismissed. Now the folks that were screaming "superteam" all the way up until last Thursday trying to spin this and act like they weren't clearly wrong

2. Wade and Bosh clearly got comfortable with Bron doing all the heavy lifting and carrying the burden of expectations and got fat and sassy...see Wade deciding to lose weight and change his diet and committing to playing the whole season after Bron left and coming out like a man possessed and shooting 3s like Hersey Hawkins in this year's playoffs. Bron as the best player and the guy with all the power and leverage and the guy that gets the most credit has to carry a comparable amount of the blame. However, we gotta stop giving everybody else a pass like they aren't max "superstars" themselves. When shyt goes well it's a superteam. When it doesn't we act like there is only one supposed superstar on the floor.
3. These Warriors came out of nowhere. No one could foresee their arrival in the summer of 2014. They are better than any team the Heat played against. The Heat would likely suffer a similar fate...see 2014 Finals. Conversely Bron still owns KD and Aldridge and Leonard clearly don't have what it takes to lead a team in May/June.
4. Bron isn't as good as he was in MIA. He's not as athletic as he was the first stint in CLE. He stubbornly refuses to adjust his game based upon that reality as well as the new paradigm. He wants to play like it's 95-04. He reminds me of all those middle aged people in the late 90s/early 2000s that refused to become computer literate until they had no other choice.

Yup. Dude is like the king of the Carmelo-class players who simply won't do shyt in their careers yet somehow he broke thru, won a couple of times but the stench of coming up short will always float around him.
Pippen played his role and there were always opportunities for him to have a nice stat line at the end of a game. For LeBron, too much shyt has to be "right" in order for things to work. It's like he simply can't control the flow of the game and inspire his teammates to get their acts together to close out a game and move to the next thing.

kevin love on paper to a non basketball head = a superstar baller
kyrie to a non basketball head = a superstar baller
kevin love to a basketball head = an allstar who is only this good when he's on a bad team. when he is a part of a much better situation. he wont get as many touches because kevin love is not the reason you win games. he's a guy that can score at a pretty good clip and rebound. but even his rebounding numbers have been inflated over the year with minny due to them being so bad and no one else on tha team caring about a board but him.
kryie was a loser in the nba same as love before joining forces with bron. bron is the only winner of the 3 main guys. jr smith is a loser too..sorry to say. kyrie is yet another baller on a bad team. kyrie is not going to win you games on a great team.
you want to know the truth? truth is, you never should've traded wiggins. i said it when they did it. you keep him put him at sf and bron gets his crybaby self down at the PF spot. draymond is playing PF/C as a midget basically you dont hear him crying about it now do you? nope.
They should've traded kyrie for more help. OR kept him and brought him off the bench. he's jamal crawford ladies and gentlemen. he has no defense but can score with all sorts of crazy handles. too much dribbling if you ask me a lot of times. that means you're a great 6th man not my #2 guy or sometimes #1 guy on a ring team.
miami had a champion in dwade(as shady as that ring was) and cbosh someone who carried his team into the playoffs. something that neither love nor kyrie could do with their respective loser teams. that tells you something. bosh is better than kryie and love as a player. the hell with stats. he elevates his team enough to get in the offs. those guys could not do that period.
bosh is the 3rd best guy on that team in miami. he also plays defense. dwade and bron. nuff said. 3 defenders. locking down perimeter players and the pick and roll
