Show us some nice areas in cities, suburbs, towns that have a poor reputation?


I’ll start with The Bronx - known for being the biggest slum in NYC and more known for African Americans, Jamaicans, Dominicans and Rican’s and lots of tenement buildings and public housing projects (now it has lots of small single multi-family homes)


Here is Riverdale a section of the Bronx by the 1 train that is literally in its own world.

I’m going to work so later this evening if this thread doesn’t flop I want to look at south side Chicago, Detroit (I actually know a few areas for Detroit), Camden, Philly and Baltimore.

No I know..but the awful parts of California whether in la, Oakland whatever..seem to be like 2 miles from beautiful rich places (which I guess are in the same cities, towns etc)

That’s why I put that word there cause people really think something will happen to you. Where people from NY burbs still sometimes lock their doors in Harlem in this very day and age lol.


You should always have your doors lock but I’m sure having their doors lock slowly is forgotten once they are in westchester lol

Chicago south side: Jackson park highlands neighborhood. Jesse Jackson lived in this neighborhood at one time. This area is Maybe 10 mins from chief Keef and king von’s o block
