But when Artest hit that jumper, the Lakers were already up 76-73 with one minute to go in the Finals They already had the lead That shot just further increased the lead. Right before Artest's three, Kobe hit two free throws. Right after Artest's three, Kobe made two late free throws to push the lead up again. Funny how a little context changes things Kobe was up. Breh..the Celtics hit a three immediately after Artest did. If Artest doesn't make the shot the game is tied. Celtics made another three after that. If Artest hadn't made the shot, the game as it actually unfolded would have been decided by Vujacic's free throws.

Also, both Artest and Fisher were the ones earlier in the fourth quarter to score three points to tie the game.

It's Game 7/2010 Finals. Lakers are up 3. The series is tied 3-3. Kobe needs to maintain the lead, play conservatively and drain the clock and the Lakers win the Title. He can't make any stupid plays or give Boston any chance to come back AT ALL. Artest is wide open. Boom. He hits the three.

The game you're referencing for Bron is Game 3/2017 Finals. The Cavs trailed 0-2 in the series. That's an important variable you're leaving out In this case, LeBron has NOTHING to lose. LeBron needs to play aggressively to ensure they don't go down 0-3. He doesn't. They go down 0-3.
