Kyrie didn’t play in the conference finals. Lost In 5 to the Bucks the following year.

He was second fiddle to Durant in Brooklyn

YEA HE GOT INJURED

IF HE DOESNT, BOSTON LIKELY GOES TO THE FINALS THAT YEAR

HE WAS THE GO TO GUY IN BROOKLYN.. 20 FGA COMPARED TO DURANT'S 17 FGA

One day the usual suspects will start saying that Pau was better than Kobe just like some now say Pippen was better than MJ :dead:

I've always been a big Gasol fan, but his impact is obviously being blown up to diminish Kobe. Ironically, Kobe had WAAAAY better stats and much more impact during the Lakers threepeat than Pau ever had, but somehow then he was "carried" by Shaq :jbhmm::dahell::comeon:
People need to go look at Kobe stats in the playoffs with Shaq. Shaq ain’t do that shyt by himself. Kobe had phenomenal performances that helped get those championships. Bro getting double teamed and shyt made shyt easy for Shaq

Kobe a legend R.I.P but I think his psycho training methods had him gassed for the finals he always seemed to fade (not at his best) in June. He always cooked in the conference finals , but looked not great(compared to other greats) during finals. :manny: Lebron had the terrible 2011 finals
Kobe Had the awful chuckfest 2004 finals. They both legends for coming back and winning after having terrible series IIWII
:hubie: the reason why ol cheese eyes stands out is because his numbers are crazy late in the season dude was a demon on a mission :mjlit: and this is coming from a Cheese eyes hater. Dude was on another level.

Video: Kobe Bryant Admits Being Shaq's Sidekick During Lakers Championships

When asked point blank if he was Shaq’s sidekick during the duo’s time together, Kobe responded, “Yea, for sure.”

“The challenge for me was to show [Shaq] and show everybody else that I could win without him,” Bryant continued. “Point proven.”

“I took it as an honor and as a challenge to be a player that could play the supporting role. Then, move from that, take the leading role, win that way as well. I took a lot of pride in that.”

It may have taken nearly a decade since Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal went through a public divorce, but the former seems to be content with his role as sidekick to the latter during the time they played together.
