As a kid I was like ":mindblown:Why are you going for a pinfall in a Royal Rumble?" but then again Macho Man was doing all types of weird stuff in Rumbles. I remember the Rumble where he saw Jake The Snake on the outside and he jumped over the top rope to get a Jake and I was like ":leon:Macho Man eliminated himself?" Even the announcers were confused if that counted as an elimination since he jumped instead of someone else doing it on some ":dahell::wtf::dahell::damn:What's going on?"

The Rey Mysteio rumble was the worst along with last years.

Atleast with Del Rio, he was talkin bout ''destiny'' for weeks leading up to it

They sure got lucky on Rey having the longest time so they can put it in their video packages :pachaha:

I ain't gonna lie, for half a second I thought they really would have Santino win it all. Knowing how Del Rio's career has panned out, maybe they should've gone with it :patrice:

I was hoping they were legit gonna let Santino win.

Would have easily amassed the non pop Del Rio got plus in 20+ years of Royal Rumbles it would have been nice to have one year where a mid-carder randomly won it.

49ers..Braves..Celtics
92 Rumble=GOAT
Bobby Heenan's commentary though... :lawd:

"THAT'S NOT FAIR TO FLAIR! :damn:"

That ending with Sid and Hogan.....

Sid:*points at sign in the crowd* HULK WHO? HULK WHO?

Hulk: :dwillhuh:

Came in here to say this. I think the '92 Rumble is by far the best ever. You had the world title on the line. You had an insane amount of star power. You had Flair going pretty much the whole distance...you had fans turning on Hogan and finally you had Heenan's commentary which was legendary status. There's no commentator outside of maybe Ventura that could rise to that level. :wow:

midcarder fighting over that big gold midcard belt :youngsabo:
Given the fact that Del Rio didn't win the big gold belt at Wrestlemania... Santino would have been better winning the Rumble that year. Plus wasn't that the year where Santino was stuntin' on everyone inside the Elimination Chamber as well?

That was last year. Santino's last person to be eliminated Rumble was 2011.

Even if they wrote him out the title match for storyline purposes the weeks after, it still would have been a moment!

Craziest thing about Rumble '92 is that you get a whole lot of the big 80s stars that were on the way out, and some stars that were newer and still going up. And WWF changed so much over the next year, over half of the '92 Rumble wasn't around anymore by the '93 Rumble. And then by '94, damn near none of 'em were still around. Just crazy to see how much the roster changed so fast.

The 92 joint had- Hogan, Savage, Flair, Jake, Undertaker, Piper, Michaels, DiBiase, Sid, Santana, Valentine, Bossman, Davey Boy, Slaughter, Duggan, Von Erich, IRS, Snuka, etc... It was really the last of an era.
