Not a Royal Rumble ending, but CM Punk cutting promos in the Royal Rumble about being Straight Edge was probably one of my favorite moments
That was classic...we were all going nuts in the thread..."GRAB THE MIC!!!!" :heh:. I wish he stayed in longer clearing it out a few times

re-watched the 92 rumble...great match, but the ending was a bit rushed to me.
Rick Martel and Piper get eliminated simultaneously...then savage gets eliminated 10 secs later...then hogan gets eliminated 30 secs later...then sid obviously 15 secs later. Could have stretched it a tad bit :yeshrug:

After re-watching the 93' rumble, I feel the negative stigma attached to it is a bit unfair..The final elimination was trash obviously...and there were way too many jobbers since a lot of good talent left..

But the working of the match was decent...
-backlund put on a great performance
-the giant gonzalez/undertaker fukkery in the middle of the match :heh:
-And the final two actually wrestled for a bit before the final elimination
-Heenan always making things interesting

They should have had Perfect last a lot longer too...Crowd was rooting for him.

Vintage Collection is on TV right now and it's about Yokozuna. Just re-lived that 93 Rumble ending with Macho Man, it's incredible how stupid they would make Savage look... elbow drop, pin, thrown over the ropes and into the bushes :laff:

(About to show Yoko/Bret from WM9 next, time to flip the channel :sadcam:)

:pachaha: @ Batista and John Cena botching the ending of the 2005 Rumble causing Vince to come out and subsequently tear BOTH of his quads in the process.

VinceTearsQuad.gif

Yeah he was trying to build that father and son bond with Triple H :lolbron:

It was a legit injury on live tv and the gif doesn't do how awkward but hilarious it was justice

Vince was just supposed to angry storm out and demand a restart and his quads gave when he lost his balance after botching the slide in

-P-

yeah when it first happened me and my boys were like :ohhh: then when we noticed that it was legit we were :russ:

I cant believe HBK/Taker was the GOAT rumble ending in 2007
After all the trash we witnessed

Sheamus got no type of reaction for winning the RR :heh:

First time seeing the 93 ending that was fukking a awful. The idea was stupid but the execution is even worse :heh: Macho pretty much eliminated himself.

I don't even remember last year except for Cena winning of course and Ryback taking that L. Sheamus winning had me legit pissed and was so forced :pacspit:. Del Rio :comeon: but his was better than Sheamus. No pop at all and he was face. Why didn't Austin get a title shot in 97?

:russ: I was there along the side of the ramp heading to the ring in Fresno. We all knew it was legit when he fell on his ass but everyone still :pachaha: Vince was of course :upsetfavre: I bought the DVD thinking I would've got my close up when Vince stopped half way on his way back up the ramp from the ring cause I was beside him along the side rail when the camera zoomed in on us. But they took it out of the DVD version :damn:

But you can see me in the background cheering on Booker T when he did the Spinneroonie :win:

Great PPV except for the draw @ the end of the Rumble . From the crowd going :bryan: when Triple H gave Orton that work to Daniel Puder given the :camby: by the other wrestlers never to be seen in a WWE ring again :banderas:

Flair's performance in the 1992 rumble is so great. The guy damn near accidentally turned himself face due to making you feel sorry for him. Everyone who came in that rumble got their shots in on him

Flair needed Hogan's help at that point. The man had gotten his ass whooped for over an hour by then and Sid was about to give him that work if Hogan hadn't accidentally distracted Sid by grabbing his arm to shake his hand and wish him luck against flair

(since he was a face and would never be a poor sport right?)

-P-

Flair was such a big heel in that match that the fans cheered for everybody against him...all of that evil shyt Jake did didn't mean anything when he had Flair in that DDT..crowd went nuts...haha

There was an angle when Berzerker first came to the WWF where he and Taker had a match on Superstars. Somehow...Taker was out in the middle of the ring. Berzerker used to bring some viking sword to the ring with him. He tried to stab the Undertaker in the middle of the ring through the heart and the commentary was hilarious. Now they facing off in this Rumble...lol
