I never had a problem with Windows Vista except for the slow file copying which they fixed with the first Service Pack. It was better than XP for me.

I have been rocking with Ubuntu for a good 2 or so years.... shyt is pretty good and I run Windows VMs when I need them.... but the learning curve is :merchant: and stability is :patrice:

One time the battery died, and when I rebooted the screen was just an empty background. I had to pull up the command prompt and reinstall the taskbar/desktop program :snoop:

What's wrong with it? It's
dope to me.

Did your computer come with it or you upgrade?

My laptop just doesn't feel as smooth with it (i5 processor + 8 gig ram) so it's not the specs and its not super slow neither but it just felt better with Windows 7

And my main gripe is Skype I use it heavy and its always given me issues, shows people offline when they not doesn't show missed calls and now when I use the windows 8 app and try to minimize it, it closes the call, and I have tried trouble shooting it every which way. It also affects the standard desktop app too.

The only positive about Windows 8 is the usb 3.0 support, transferring 30gb files has never been quicker:ahh:

Mine came with 8.1 (i7/8GB). I don't use Skype so I wouldn't know. Only problem I have is that I thought boot up/shutdown time would be much faster, guess I need an SSD.
