Nah, they won the championship the year before. That's why it was a such a statement game for the Pacers. They beat the shyt out of the Pistons that night. Then Ron fouled the shyt out of Ben after the game was well in hand. And then we had nikka moment on top of nikka moment on top of nikka moment after that. Even though my team got they ass beat on the court that was a fukking wonderful night. I remember I was calling every nikka I knew like "DOG, YOU GOTTA TURN ON THE PISTONS GAME! ARTEST AND STEPHEN JACKSON IN THE STANDS BEATING THE shyt OUTTA nikkaS!!" I was hype as fukk watching that shyt. The Pacers earned my respect that night.
