I'm a huge G-Unit stan. So when the Mobb (who I also Stan) was announced to be signing with the Unit I was like

:krs:

Plus I was hoping for Alchemist and G-Unit to do sum tracks too.

This album gets the same treatment all Mobb Deep albums after Murda Muzik got. It's like those albums get treated as wack because of the perception that Prodigy fell off. There's people who don't really give Murda Muzik props (it might be their third best, but it holds it's own against Infamous and Hell On Earth). Personally, I think Infamy, Amerikaz Nightmare, and Blood Money are all solid albums.
Truth to the bolded.
Infamy was doomed from the start. P get's dissed by Jay when he is in full fall-off mode...and Infamy was the first time we heard wack P over an entire album.
Low key though...Hav fell off behind the boards on this album too :mjcry:
There were still a few moments of vintage Mobb brilliance...but look at this tracklist...

1. "Pray for Me" (featuring Lil' Mo) Havoc 3:22
2. "Get Away" EZ Elpee 3:40
3. "Bounce" Havoc 4:13
4. "Clap" Havoc 4:53
5. "Kill That nikka" Havoc 3:47

6. "My Gats Spitting" (featuring Infamous Mobb) Havoc 4:34

7. "Handcuffs" Havoc 3:34

8. "Hey Luv (Anything)" (featuring 112) Havoc 4:04
9. "The Learning (Burn)" (featuring Noyd and Vita) Havoc 4:17
10. "Live Foul" Scott Storch 4:24
11. "Hurt nikkas" (featuring Noyd) Havoc 3:30
12. "Get At Me" The Alchemist 3:33
13. "I Won't Fall" Scott Storch 4:20
14. "Crawlin'" Havoc 4:07
15. "Nothing Like Home" (featuring Littles) Havoc 4:27
16. "There I Go Again / So Long" (featuring Ron Isley) Scott Storch 10:17

The bolded are nowhere near classic vintage Hav beats :mjcry:
My soul will never recover from that monstrosity that was Handcuffs :scust:

Hurt N1ggas and My Gats Spitting were supremely gully, and handcuffs has grown on me.

Infamy was easily better than the albums that came after.

Hurt had that feeling, but the beat was so simple to the point of sounding incomplete. I don't even remember My Gats Spitting. My joint off that album was Clap :wow:
You're probably right though about Infamy :yeshrug:
