So if Kobe isn't the first option, its not his fault the team loses.

When he tries to be the first option, his team loses. When he lets his bigs get the ball, they win.

Doesn't matter now, Kobe's entering Larry Holmes Gardens :mjcry:

So you jump straight to analyzing the Finals records but ignore everything it takes to get to the finals? :JJ:

KObestan selective memories ...

Kobe was favored to win EVERY single one of his finals. He still managed to lose twice. Lebron was favored to win in two out of 6. He might still pull this one out ( I hope not). Kobe was not the only player on his Finals teams, and he was not the best player on his team for most of his Finals.

Also, if you want to judge players solely on Finals performance, than Duncan > Wade > Kobe.
"Still managed to lose twice".:mjlol:...I'm not gonna take your word that he was favored against the celtics, but even if he was it's not an embarassing loss and he still has FIVE and you still MAD

You must be used to watching lebron this finals.

Whats he at, 38%? Inefficient chucker, but hey, hes pretty efficient at losing the most finals games in the least amount of tries.

I never realized the Finals were a 1v1 of the team's respective players. It's like back in the days when battles were decided by duels between both sides best fighters instead of between armies.

Favored means the media had the lakers as favorites. YOu can look at ESPN and see that almost everybody picked the lakers to win.

Same thing in 2004 when Kobe had the most embarrassing performance in any Finals i've watched. Worse than Lebron 2011.

I always suspected you Kobestans were watching an entirely different sport :JJ:

BTW, don't throw generic bullshyt like this at me. You claim somebody moves goalposts when they change their original rationalization. If you read carefully, you kobestans change goalposts depending on which player you are criticizing. Kobe's better than Lebron because he has a better finals win percentage? But Timmy's not better than Kobe for the same reason?

And Duncan can't dream of taking his team to 7 NBA Finals either:smugbiden:

And Kobe can't dream of making 5 straight Finals

And Lebron and Timmy can't dream of losing a series after being up 3-1

So when a team is favored, what do you base it on? Vegas also had the Lakers as favorites in 2008.

Let me guess, the Lakers weren't favorites in your view because they lost?

When he tries? You just said hes not a first option at all. You sound like lebron right now. Not sure of what to say next, so you just ramble off some nonsense that contradicts your previous statement. Kobe is entering Larry Holmes Gardens with these fellas,
