As far as the question you return to the same starting point with 10 hours of travel, so 9pm in Chicago?

if it's 5 hours each way then technically 10 pm but you have the right idea. Time zones have no relevance to the passing of time. If you travel around the world in a day, and come back to your starting point the next day, 2 days has passed. I think that's what he's trying to get at but it's worded like he has the special seat in the short bus :heh:

i said you start in chicago and you go forward in time 5 hours then you go to england, is that too confusing for you or something?

Then why not just say you left chicago at 5 pm you spergy retard? Trying to sound intelligent when you're borderline mentally handicapped.

it is an opinion. a bunch of people made up things that they say are 'rules of grammar' but they are only opinions. they aren't laws of nature. hate when people try to act like grammar police as if moses descended with grammar rules written on stone.

Proper English is not opinionated. Someone made the rules and they became the standard. If you want to modify it then cool.....but it's a dialect at that point. IE: Ebonics or Gullah

Yea I think you're right. I did -1 because it started at noon, but that still should be 10pm I think when you actually count it out

Think he was trying to imply that you can go foward in time and come back and it would still be 12... ...But Chicago is 6 hours behind soooooo...yeah....just chop it up to the reefer I guess breh...:snoop:

look up the definition of opinion and don't respond to me again since you seem to be slow. any law or thing made up by man is an opinion. it is a group of people saying 'i THINK this is a good way of doing things. that is what an opinion is. doesn't matter if you call it a law or a rule. in fact, you get ignored too dumbass.

That's the crux of the question breh. Theoretically if you are using GMT if you go back and forth then the end time should be the same as the starting time. What you're missing however is that time is directly proportional to distance traveled, famously expressed via the Newtonian derivative distance = velocity x time ( d = v*t). so if we are withholding acceleration from the equation then if you have travel doubled the distance it has taken you double the time. So there's no way it can be 12 in reality, however logically it would follow that if I was in a GMT - 6, I traveled to a GMT -0 zone, then went back directly to a GMT - 6 zone, according to the GMT system the time should be the same as the time I started, because you reversed course. The crux of the issue is that time zones have nothing to do with distance traveled, one is merely a designation, the other is a matter of physics. :obama:
