The "let's settle this" implies that this is a tough choice and it really wasn't. U-God was always weaker in comparison to the others imo

I will say this though...he's not wack. He's just the wackest in the group which isn't the worst thing to be. Being the worst dude in Wu is like saying you're the worst dude in the starting five on a championship team

Ehhh..no.

Put Ugod in Souls of Mischief, Pharcyde, MOP, OutKast, Tribe, Camp Lo, NWA, De La, LOX, and he would be bY far the weakest...same with Cap

And Trust I can name other groups and if you say ain’t new groups like Wut, that’s a technicality cuz of course there’s no 9 person group.

That’s fair. I still say there’s no shame in him being the worst dude in wu. Especially when there’s a case to be made for the group being home to four of the greatest rappers of all time.

Capadonna ruined "Ice Cream" in a way that I think no one else could. Man really got on a record and said "I love you like I love my dikk size". Imagine if Meth spit the third verse on that track instead of him. It's a credit to Rae, Ghost, and Meth that it's a classic cut in spite of Mr. Masturbate in Your Clutches and I Jizz "em like a Giant

Don't nobody even care about the lyrics on "Ice Cream". Great beat, great hook, and all you gotta do is say some basic sh*t on theme.

You might of well had just titled this thread "Come In Here and Slander U-God"

Son said "Super freak physique, like Raphael Saadiq" like going to the club looking for chicks built like former Toni! Tony! Tone! members is the wave

/thread :russ:

I’d probably vote a tie with him and Masta Killah. UGod probably has more memorable verses, and the years have not been kind to MK’s style. That said, I don’t think either is trash. 5 of the most memorable MC’s of all-time just happen to be in the same crew you’re rapping with. It’s almost impossible to measure up to that standard.

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
RZA has very high highs to go with his low lows. U-God at his best couldn't touch RZA on the mic, or anybody in the Wu for that matter. Except Masta Killa.
buggin breh. ugod has some of the best verses in wu history on wutang forever. u god has higher highs than cappa AND masta killa and even deck imo tho deck always drops quality verses in that era. ugods verses each line is like a picture, he was on that abstract style well before ghost i fukk with it.

he has some epic lows tho where the rest of the clan generally is pretty dope.but id say ugod got way more standout verses than masta killa or even cappadonna.rza can hit some lows too but also has some of the highest highs.

noone in the wu is wack so they have no wackest member

Yeah, yo
Curses from war, innocent blood spills for days
Soothe in godly ways, hands, solemn in praise
Tree of life, more precious than rubies, golden game
The wise shall flourish inherit, Halls of Fame
Crime visions in my blood got me, locked in prison

While we die hard living people whine about religion, vision
Blow, spin, and sin and killing what's revealing
It's a never ending battle with no ending or beginning, listen

Zero process, progress, become the hunted
America's most wanted
, good life flaunted, want it
Some love the speed, some satisfy a need
Some want to be down, young gun seed, jungle breed
The strong must feed, someone die, someone bleed

One flew astray, and it caught my little seed
Can it be, the ice savage, trife life, made me grab the knife
The righteous man was beat with many stripes, pipes
Take in my energy, breath and know the rest

Cause the good die young and the hard die best

Between Rza and U-God

Like Rza is some what safe due to his beats, but his flow is a hit and a miss sometimes

U-God on the other hand... it's frustrating listening to him

the real hiphop.
As far as flow goes its Masta Killa. Sometimes I feel like he hasn't fully learned yet how to structure his flow properly and its really mind boggling how simplistic he gets with it (not in a good way). :why:
He's got several classic verses though and a cult classic in No Said Date. :obama:

Overall I'd have to say Cappadonna. He started off really nice back '95-'97 with Winter Warz as the obvious choice for his best verse, but since then the decline has been steep and he also struggles with his flow.
I get uncomfortable every time I see his named featured on a track cause I know this might be another wack verse. :lupe:

my vote goes to Cappadonna

also, why is ODB not listed as an option? I do believe there are people out there who would vote for him
