- If he played in the East where he would've been facing a Paul George-led Pacers, 60 win Hawks w/no superstar, an Isiah Thomas-less Celtics, and a Celtics team led by the likes of Rozier and Marcus Smart, then he'd be in the Finals every single season as well. That's not much of an accomplishment.

It's easier to be a great defender when you don't have to shoulder all the load on the other end. On top of that it's easier to be a great defender when you have two other All-NBA level defenders on your team. shyt 3 more if you include Iggy.You have to also keep in mind that KD is a great defender currently while LeBron is not.

Low key...I think Cleveland can beat the Warriors in the finals....They have more defensive length than they did last season(Hill,Green,Nance),and more players capable of scoring 10-15 pts(Clarkson,Hood,Hill,Green,Korver,Smith.Love.Lebron)....Clarkson,Hood,and Nance need to get their shyt together.

Ppl act like that okc team wasnt good defensively still without westbrook. I'd most definitely pick this celtics team over the cavs if it was kd and love instead of bron and love. KD would've been bounced first round if his teammates played like brons did against the pacers

Aside from Gm. 1 + his 43 point outing Westbrook was trash. He had Magic Johnson on air calling it the worst Finals performance that he'd ever seen from a point guard. Both him and Harden were awful.
Melo, PG and a peaking Adams > Waiters, Roberson, Reggie Jackson, Jeremy Lamb, Haseem Thabeet, et al.
He lost in Round 1 to a rookie, that tells you everything you need to know about all the "help" KD had.
The 2017 Finals it was three superstars versus three superstars (LeBron, Kyrie + Love vs. KD, Steph + Klay) and we saw who came out on top.
