I’ve been trying to remember that time back in ‘03 when Toonami looked like a bit programmed video game, looking like a very retro version of Metroid or some shyt lol. This was back when .hack//sign and I think Gundam Wing were being played on there. I remember the music too, I just wish I can find videos of it smh

Toonami and Adult Swim had the GOAT original soundtracks and underground music promos :blessed:

S/O to ATL, Cartoon Network/Adult Swim/Toonami have been one of y’all greatest products in the last 25 years :ohlawd:

There is no run like 2000s Cartoon Network

y’all old nikkas get that Doug and slime outta here. Nick was good for a bit and still put a couple of goat shows.

But CN was fire cartoons from morning to middle of the night.

Although Cartoon Network had a crazy good run from the 90s to 2004, I dare say that The Disney Afternoon held a breh down back when my family had no cable back in the early to mid 90s :mjcry: . When that went off the air in Fall 1997, I was legit :sadbron: for that whole 97 to 98 school year.

You know
1993 to 2000 Nickelodeon

VS.

1996 to 2006 Cartoon Network

That shyt was like Death Row vs. Bad Boy for kids/tween television programming :whew:

Then you had 1998 to 2004 Kids WB on it’s No Limit status :ohlawd:

And then 1999 to 2006 Fox Kids/Fox Box and JETIX in the cut on some Cash Money shyt :noah:

And of course 1998 to 2007 Zoog Disney/Disney Channel/Toon Disney up the street on some Murder Inc. steez :whoo:

1997 to 2005 Toonami was G-Unit status vs. 2001 to 2012 Adult Swim being Roc-A-Fella status :gladbron:

Maaaaan, us late 80’s and 90’s kids were EATING sumn serious during this era :blessed:
As a 90s Fox kids 1992 to 1996 was the goat. X men, Batman, mighty morphin power rangers. It fell off to me in about 1997/98 then I started watching kids WB and Disney’s one Saturday morning more.

Whoever made that list is a whole biased fakkit

Camp lazlo is way better than gumball, definitely has to be born in the 2000s

Adventure time, gum ball and regular show should be low tier. Art style, characters are very bland. disrespectful list.
You have to respect the younger generations though, I didn’t like Gumball/Adventure Time/Regular Show but they were big as if not bigger culturally than the 90s Cartoon Cartoons.

Only thing I hold against the new cartoons is they’re part of that weird wave of cartoons that couldn’t decide if they’re for kids or for adults, and I always felt adult hyped them up more than actual kids.
