here we go again with this bullshiit. stop judging indivduals by team statistics its dumb, god damn nikkaz are waiting at every turn to call someone a choker, if a nikka throws an incomplete in his first posteason game hes a choker, if a nikka gets n 0-1 count in his first playoff at bat hes a choker but if a nikka like brady who didnt actually do shyt when his team won and since he been putting up numbers is just as big of a choker as anyone already has been deemed clutch he could throw 5 picks and its wes welker fault but its all him when they win foh with your fairy tales luck is stlll the man

Colts need to get him a legit consistent run game and a legit consistent defense or he is always going to put him numbers, have a bunch of turnovers, make the playoffs by virtue of his division being the second worst in football, beat Cincinnati and then lose to a real team with a real offense and real coach

This is a horrible thread :snoop:

Dude is young and still getting better, also his team isn't that good

IMO the Colts have overachieved every year since they got Luck and he has already had some great moments in the playoffs(the comeback against KC/beating Peyton on the road) so i dont know where that dumb ass Dalton comparison came from

They play in a terrible division where the other three teams still need QB's. They can make the playoffs by default.

The media crowning him is way premature especially with all the turnovers.

No, I think today more than proved that most top 10-15 QBs will still win with the Seahawks. Think about it he threw 4 picks and they still held the team to only 19 and were still in it. I'm not calling Wilson a gamemanager but this game proves that all you need to do is just manage the game properly, don't turn it over and they'll win. There's a reason why when the defense was playing bad earlier in the year they weren't winning. Just look at Wilson's stats in the games they lost this year. He played pretty well in some of those games.

VS San Diego:

17/25 202yds, 2TD, 0INt but they lost b/c the defense gave up 30

VS St Louis:

23/36 313yds, 2TD, 0Int. 106 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD but they still lost

VS KC:
20/32 178yds, 2TD, 0int. 71 rushing yards but they still lost

YET he can put up these numbers against the Giants AND the Seahwaks still win by 21.

10/17, 172 yds, 0TDs and 2Int. He did have 100 rushing yds and a rushing Td to offset it a little.

Wilson is good in his own right but he doesn't have to do much for this team. It takes alot of pressure off of him and makes his job much easier. Tony Romo, Peyton Manning [ie. players considered "chokers"] would probably win 5 super bowls with this team. How many times can either of those players throw a Int in the last 5 minutes of a game while down 12 and still be in a position to win?
It is not that simple. All pro, former SB-leading, number 1 pick, better pure passer Drew Bledsoe was not better for the Patriots than a second year Tom Brady despite being more physically talented.

they need a #1 back so bad, Herron barely stood out in college. Richardson trade was a disaster, Bradshaw was a solid pickup but hes not winning you playoff games in '15

and more importantly, DL. old ass Cory Redding and that bummy nose tackle weren't scaring anyone. they have a window of opp in the AFC, Denver's time is just about up and the other non-NE teams are beatable at any given time. but they need to hit this draft out of the park, and add at least 1 veteran dl
