There are some traits we share with animals and some we do not. :yeshrug:

I don't think I've met one monogamous individual in my life.

I'm just sick of the whole "monogamy isn't natural" thing when most of the shyt we do isn't natural. You don't have to be with one person and most people don't want to but that argument is highly flawed.

Using a toilet isn't natural but I doubt you're gonna go squat in the middle of the street to take a shyt. lmao

Nature.

Name one animal in nature that is monogamous.

do you guys seriously not know that there's a WHOLE HOST of animals that mate monogamously? :laff:
Penguins... Bald Eagles and Beavers being the most popular examples.

"Bald eagles typically mate for life, except in the event of their partner's death or impotency — a number far lower than America's divorce rate, which now exceeds 50 percent."
"Beavers mate for life, and will only take on a new mate if the first one dies. Both parents raise their offspring together. However, while they tend to be monogamous on the whole, cheating can still take place among some couples."
monogamy is just as much a part of "nature" as infidelity. so y'all cheaters can stop tryna use that as a vaild excuse for your lack of self-control.

FROM THE SAME DAMN ARTICLE said:
While it's practically impossible to find an animal species that's completely monogamous (unless you count the angler fish or the flatworm fish, where the monogamous relationship requires the actual fusing of the bodies), there are a handful of animals in the animal kingdom that have an affinity toward monogamy.

I wouldn't cheat on my wife. If I marry a girl I want to know she's the one, and if she is I don't see why I'd have any motivation to cheat.

On a girlfriend though I would. If you're cheating it just means you're unhappy with something, or looking for something your gf can't give you. No reason to stay with the chick if you feel that way anyway. So if something better came along I'd cheat without feeling bad about it.

Same reason I didn't feel bad when I've messed with girls in relationships. If her husband/bf was taking care of his shyt she wouldn't be messing with me on the side. Not my fault.

Male prairie voles apparently stay with the female who took their virginity. Prairie voles usually stay monogamous, raising their offspring together. Scientists have discovered that prairie voles have hormones that trigger lasting relationships and show aggression toward those who try to break out of the monogamy system.

awwwwwwwww! that's so cute. *swoons*
and cheaters get dealt with in nature too.... sharia law style. :boss: :shaq:

Yes, yes, and if the opportunity presents itself yes. As for your situation, just make sure your friend ain't stupid about it and he can go on for years with his dog ass ways.

While this salamander species tend to be monogamous, they're also an extremely jealous bunch. Accused cheaters (both males and females) have to face the wrath of their mate: from threat displays to bites to a denial of affection. Ouch. No wonder most stay monogamous. :boss:

Black vultures mate for life, and if one vulture is suspected of cheating, a community of vultures will attack the cheating vulture. :boss:

California mice pair up for life and the male has an affinity toward raising the offspring. The presence of his mate and that of his young'uns keeps the male mouse faithful and parental.

"Nature" at it's finest...just saying. :smugfavre:

So out of the hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of animal species out there you found maybe a dozen with an AFFINITY for monogamy. And even then there are cheaters in those groups.

Yeah, can't beat the cheat. :win:

just addressing the folks saying monogamy is "non existent" in nature. FALSE. so let's kill that.
Homosexuality exist in nature too....just because YOU may not like or engage in a certain activity does not it make it "unnatural".
