2001 is the best produced rap album, EVER. Only Graduation rivals it. But neither are classics.

I think rap is the one of the few genres where imperfect, distorted production is better than perfectionist modes... Kind of why I don't buy the hype on a lot of Kanye albums..

I got all that nikka albums and thats the only one that sounds out of place, imo had no replay value

Yeah, I always kind of gloss over Tip as a producer. Arguably the greatest producer of the 90s with a hand in Illmatic, Infamous, and all the Tribe stuff, correct?

Never heard any Boogie Down stuff outside of the stuff my pops would play. I can't get into MCs like Del and KRS-1, they have this pitch to their voice that annoys the fukk out of me.

nahh breh..east 99 is a universal classic (outside of maybe a few EC states) while supreme clintele is mainly considered a classic only on the east
