lets talk about Get Rich Or Die Trying the movie.

This movie is like Belly to me, lol. Everyone’s seen it, everyone knows it, everyone can quote it and has madd favorite scenes and all that…it’s a “hood classic”…but it’s really not a good movie, lol. Like 50’s acting is clearly awful and he’s the Lead, 
, good luck trying to pull that off. But we all love 50 so much that it don’t even really matter…real serious critics though ain’t letting that fly, shh got rightfully bombed on. Even got a stray thrown at it on The Sopranos (since one of The Sopranos writers was at the helm of the film. I think he did Wolf of Wall Street too).
Still think it was a better written script/better movie in general than Belly tho,
, I’d rather watch it than Belly. I just hate the ending of Get Rich, shh was so corny and rushed, lol, like why end it like that? Country clapped Supreme backstage then 50 performed,

it never made sense to watch a biopic (like the new Bob Marley) when we have documentaries of Bob, that are handfuls of hours long, in his own words
same with that Tupac Resurrection ... why watch some guy fake imitate 2pac and fumble the fukk out of it. Imagine how off the Prince and MJ biopics are gonna be

I think it has more to do with the acting ability, more so than anything else. Jamie Foxx is kinda Ray Charles to some peopledisagree, I think you should play yourself if you are still obviously alive

, he did a phenomenal job. Will Smith did a really good job as Ali but Ali is maybe the biggest sports figure ever in history, no matter how well you do it’s still gonna pale in comparison to the real thing that we know and love. With Pac, the actor wasn’t good, he just looked like Pac. If he was a really good actor I think it would have been a lot better. Etc… 50 was stiff (pause) and smiled basically the entire movie lol, he can’t act (he’s gotten better)…that’s the biggest stain on the film imo. Look at Kanan, young boy on there is basically playing 50 Cent as a kid, he’s doing great and the show is dope,

I like the scenes he wasn’t really “acting” in, lol. Like the car scenes particularly, all of them. Whole movie shoulda just been all the car scenes, . The scene when he went to get the brick from Majestic/kinda Supreme in the Benz was funny too, other dude was tight. All the scenes where he’s trying to “act” were kinda cringe..
