It isn't the abundance of weapons around that's the issue.

If merely just having weapons, and having easy access to weapons was the central reason for these acts, than Switzerland should have a multitude of more gun violence occur. They don't.

Let me ask you this. Is it easier or more achievable to change the culture or to change the laws. Americans aren't going to accept being forced into military training so there is no way for us to emulate Switzerland.

I never advocated banning weapons and I didn't say gun violence can be eliminated, I do belive it can be reduced, and its better to try something than nothing.
