a lotta nikkas in this thread gonna look foolish in 2 years when Wiggins is an all-star starter and averaging 25ppg.
I want to agree with you but that's like eating glass.
I'll just say 24 PPG.

Thats all that needs to be said.

As Freshmen:
Wiggins: 55% true shooting %
Barnes: 52% true shooting %
Wiggins: 1 outta every 3.2 shots is a 3 pointer
Barnes: 1 outta every 2.5 shots is a 3 pointer
Wiggins 3 point%: 36%
Barnes 3 point%: 34%
What the numbers say here is, considering these two guys are elite 6'8 physical specimens, that they still prefer to sit on the perimeter and shoot jumpers. Numbers don't lie.
Wiggins may have a marginally higher overall ceiling than Barnes but Barnes has him beat in frame and low post potential. Both those aspects translate at the next level.

You literally made that shyt up. Barnes was NEVER hyped as a defensive shut down guy.Harrison Barnes as a freshman (18 years old): 15.7 ppg 5.8 rpg 1.4 apg .7 spg .4 bpg on 42% shooting in 29.4 mpg (was hyped as defensive shutdown guy)
Andrew Wiggins (18-19 years old): 16.3 ppg 5.9 rpg 1.6 apg 1.0 spg .9 bpg on 44% shooting in 32.4 mpg (is being hyped as a defensive shut down guy)
Yea you dudes are right about one thing though, some people are really getting exposed right now.
Dap me brehs![]()
Yeah......you don't watch KU games if you think Wiggins is the team's clear #1 option.
Oh so we talking about Demaron Derozen and Paula George comparisons now, huh?His numbers are similar to DeMar & Paul George's freshmen years too
Like someone else pointed out, his first step is elite and his handle can be worked on considering George, Demar and KD all had very average handles coming into the league. The difference between Barnes and Wiggins is the first step, Wiggins first step is elite but he doesn't yet know how to put it to use.
You literally made that shyt up. Barnes was NEVER hyped as a defensive shut down guy.

Show me then because I watched every game for 2 years and never heard anyone say he was a defensive guy.
you are right. No one ever hyped Barnes up as a defensive stopper. EverShow me then because I watched every game for 2 years and never heard anyone say he was a defensive guy.
