He could just develop in the D League with NBA level coaches. Why stay and compete in the NCAA for free? Talents like WIggins in the D league would force franchises to invest in it which benefits player development overall. Hockey, soccer and baseball all have great development pipelines. In hockey a player can be drafted onto a team and still play competitive minor league hockey. This greatly helps transition and overall development. It's only football and basketball which defer development to the NCAA, which itself is more about money and winning than true player development.

Wiggins will be fine in the NBA. He's more raw than some ppl give him credit for being. His ability to get the paint at will isn't quite there yet due to mental than physical which isn't what I like at all but we will see.

Oklahoma State honestly doesn't have a non-center starter who is close to 6'8 and yet Wiggins can't effect/dominate the game.

He can jump. Has a decent stroke. But he has NO HANDLE and doesn't like (or can't handle) contact.
That's a recipe for disaster as the next level.

He cant get there when he wants because his handle is weak.
His first step is rediculous so he can blow past people but right now hes just a straight line dribbler. He cant break his defender down off the dribble

Even this guy's athleticism is overrated. He can excel in space but put a body anywhere around this guy and he's folding like a cheap lawn chair. He's got a lot more in common with Al-Farouq Aminu than you realize.
The conference wasn't weak that year.. We(fresno state) had Paul George and Greg Smith(rockets) on the team and we still didn't make the NCAA Tourny.. No PG and bad coaching is what did us in

And just to put it out there No I dont believe the Wiggins hype, I think he will be solid but with most NBA Superstars what you see from them in college is what you will see in the Pro's the ones who have the work ethic go on to become great,but for the most part thats not happening.

Like 13-3-2 or something. The media is doing these players a disservice. Back in the day when I't was the norm for players to say 2-3 years in college wiggins would be looking like a future GOAT. It's just the new perception that these youngins need to come out and dominate like lebron that is messing them up.
