Lmao some nikkas are dumb af . Ripping apart an 19 year old cause he doesn't look like a prime lebron in college Lmao:bryan:.. Homie is still raw but there's still hella potential. Kids gonna get better. Y'all are forgetting this kid is a freshman. Do you know MJ's numbers has a freshman in college? Like 13-3-2 or something. The media is doing these players a disservice. Back in the day when I't was the norm for players to say 2-3 years in college wiggins would be looking like a future GOAT. It's just the new perception that these youngins need to come out and dominate like lebron that is messing them up. Here is an article about MJ has a college player. http://m.goheels.com/mobile/ViewArt...&DB_MENU_ID=&SPSID=&SPID=12965&DB_OEM_ID=3350. Look at this part about his freshman year
"He was an extremely talented player who showed tremendous promise for the future, but he was a freshman and sometimes inconsistent. He followed the Duke game with just six points in a homecourt loss to Wake Forest,".
Not saying this kids gonna be Jordan or anything but calm down and let this kid grow. Kid is averaging 16-6-2 has a freshman and ppl saying he's ass and is gonna be a bust :ohhh:. Let homeboy live. Who knows how much this kids gonna improve in the next 3 years
I agree with this. I'm not going as far as OP and saying he' be Harrison Barnes.

I think he'll be much better than that. But clearly the hype was too much. The best since prospect since Lebron was wrong. I can see him maybe being the next Paul George which is still a great player. I think he has All NBA defense potential. But the main thing stopping him from being great is his handle. If he fixes that he'll be special.

I hate to say it I really do, but he does remind me of Harrision Barnes and that's who he could be if he doesn't develop his game.

Needs to improve his handles tho that's the key, if he does that he can take off. Also he should work on his strength and finishing thru contact although I'm sure it will come soon.

He was overhyped coming into this season but that doesn't mean he won't be nice as fu** when he puts it all together. Some of y'all don't realize that most of the HOFs didn't come it's dominating at 18-19 like lebron or KD. Michael was like 22 when he came into the league. Kobe blew up at like 20. Most of the old school superstars came out after like 2-3 years in college. If wiggins was like 22-23, ok all the hate would be warranted. But this dude is 19 with supreme tools. It's not a guarantee he figures it out, but if he does all the dudes who are roasting him for not being prime MJ at 19 will feel retarded

Associating age to lack of dominance. Oh so convenient
Lmao cause there is a clear associating. Players get better with age until they hit there peak (about 26-28). To act like there's not a correlation is idiotic. Example of that fact is every player to ever play in the NBA.

No, players get better with more opportunity and increased responsibility. Jordan averaged 13.5 ppg as a freshman on 53% shooting. He wasn't the number #1 option.

Wiggins averages 16 on 44% as the team's clear #1 option.

Meaning Wiggins has already been given opportunity and responsibility to dominate, he just can't.

Nothing will change this because he's just not that good.

Try again

Lol keep sitting at home hating all bitter and shi* while this young nikka gets drafted in the top 3 in this draft and gets paid more then you'll make in your whole life in less than a calander year LMAO :bryan:. If you really hating this hard about a 19 year old not dominating like Lebron you're probably just a bitter ass nikka. Let this kid get into the league before calling him a bust. Wiggins was overhyped has a finished or close to finished prospect. His long term potential is still there. He's only NINETEEN. Still has a long time before he should be considered a bust

The things that Wiggins are good at are pretty valuable and can't be taught. The thing he's average at are things that can be taught.

He has great defensive instincts, he's very fast, gets into the lane at will, and he has good instincts for the ball. He doesn't like contact nor is he an exceptional ball-handler but he has a pretty good stroke and you can tell he's not done growing into his body.

He can be great.

Agreed.

Look at Derozan. He's really just now getting his legs under him at 24. I would've laughed if you told me he would be a 23/4/4 player in the NBA during his college stint.

Dude averaged 13.9 points in his one season at USC.
