All I remember is that the bad songs on this album was baaaaaad. Album was OK though, quality wasn't touching OB4CL though, and that was the issue.

This was my second favorite Rae album until OB4CL2 and Shaolin vs. Wu came out.
Rae's lyrics on here was insanity.
Of course, I wished RZA had some production on it.
But, it was Raes and Power attempt to do an album without RZA's involvement, and they deliver a nice product. I feel this album is a real underground New York record, whereas OB4CL was more universal.
The only blunder was that All I Need Is You 2 song.

this is bullshyt. rae started killing tracks during that era. his production was weak. he didnt fall for a lil til after this album.

maybe it was the beats then but it didn't seem like Rae to me
Rae surpassed Ghost for a minute. Compare their verses on WTF. Nothing Ghost spit came close to Rae blacking on Duck Season. But nowadays its not hard to see how production can help/kill

I couldn't stand this album...the beats didn't fit his rhyming scheme and it just flat out sucked...Rae knows he didn't even try on that album...

rae saved himself with cuban lynx 2..then shaolin v wu tang was pretty good.
