And nikkas said Lebron one on one defense isn't good. He showed the heart of a warrior last night. The look in his eyes in that 4th showed how much he wants to win. Wade should take notes, ol jeggings and slippers wearing ass nikka.

Tony Parker in OT was partly why they lost. He was a little too shot happy and they were all mostly low % shots, especially when you consider fatigue.

The Spurs took some bad shots in OT.

Far as the thread topic, I wasn't impressed too much. Let's see Lebron stick Parker around when he doesn't always have the ball, when he's running thru the paint baseline to baseline.

Well, Bosh is a bit like KG where he's a good weak side defender and great on the perimeter because he's light-footed ( ) and agile. In his three years on the HEat I think he's been very impressive in defending picks. I'm too lazy to look up stats, but I would be the heat are overall very good at it.

I thought the HEat had the edge in this series because they could put Chalmers, Cole, and Lebron on TP. However, 1-1 only Lebron has been able to contain TP. Cole has been a disappointment.

Take a look at TP's two favorite plays. When he's doing his REggie impersonation and coming off screens, he just ditches Chalmers and Cole (and the rest of the league). Lebron stays up with him and Bosh will often jump out to harass TP and knock him off position. BOsh will recover quickly as well.

When TP has the ball and is getting screened, Bosh is very effective in harassing him. This is not new though, Bosh has been impressive with his perimeter defense ever since he joined the Heat.

Youre right on all accounts there.

And they have been good at this for quite some time now. I was unsure if they would be able to stop the dominance that has become the Tim Duncan and Tony Parker pick and roll (one of the best in the league, if not THE best). Bosh jumps out on Parker and recovers back to Duncan well as you pointed out. Just another note there tho, I think Brons size and not allowing TP to pass over the top to Duncan as Bosh is recovering is a big part in foiling the pick and roll as well.

I see it as very good work by both Bron and Bosh. Tony's quickness and strength isnt enough to get around Bron, Bosh recovers really well in getting back to Duncan and not letting him get too good of position (most of the time), and Brons size doesnt allow a lob pass over the top and delays Parker.

Overall, really good stuff to see out there.

Lebron did. He barreled through the screens and ran straight to where he knew TP would be.

Lebron's defense is superb. :lawd:

But are you saying that what the threadstarter said isn't true?

I don't get the "if" retort.

Lol you sound like my older brother last night. He was talkin shyt until that 4th. Bron had a over 30 points and a triple double broskie. And always remember, it's not about how you start, it's how you finish. That clutch 3 to help set up Ray's 3 to send them to overtime was huge.

But are you saying that what the threadstarter said isn't true?

It might be true to a degree, but there were other factors going on. It's not like the Spurs had much else going offensively at that point. Who else on the floor was going to take a shot? They weren't dumping it inside to Duncan. Parker was clearly fatigued and settling for bad shots.

So yeah, maybe he did "shut him down", at that moment but there's more to it IMO

offcourse you werent impressed. cause you cheering against bron..

You're right, but at the same time, I give credit when due whether it's Lebron or whoever.

And yeah, maybe not the whole game, but let's see him guard(Shut down) Parker before he's played 40 mins and is compltely fatigued
