It might be true to a degree, but there were other factors going on. It's not like the Spurs had much else going offensively at that point. Who else on the floor was going to take a shot? They weren't dumping it inside to Duncan. Parker was clearly fatigued and settling for bad shots.

So yeah, maybe he did "shut him down", at that moment but there's more to it IMO

You're right, but at the same time, I give credit when due whether it's Lebron or whoever.

And yeah, maybe not the whole game, but let's see him guard(Shut down) Parker before he's played 40 mins and is compltely fatigued

he guarded him the majority of the game
and Lebron play 49 mins yesterday he wasnt fatigued also?:ld:

Bron got the better of that match up last night but how we quickly forget that Parker was cooking him quite often this whole series.

Last night was all will on the Bron's part. Yea he faultered down the stretch a bit but in the grand scheme of things, he did his thing.

If anything, if Parker starts dropping it off to Duncan for the wing bank shot, he can take more pressure off himself and more pressure off the PnR.

Stopped reading after this.

This "degree" shyt is corny when you know what he did in the fourth is true.

THere's a reason why Tony got his only score in the paint in the fourth on that hook shot.....Chalmers was guarding him then.

Just stop it man. Trying to augment your point will all of these irrelevant "degrees" is straight BS.

Bron shut him down in the 4th and OT.

:wtf:

No he hasn't. Parker cooked Coles so bad that he got no minutes last night. Parker toasted Chalmers so bad that he's not even assigned to him anymore...and when he was, Parker got his only points in the paint last night.

Stop it man...

dont give that nikka credit i dont see how any nikka can watch that game and say lebron shut anything down

If anything Bosh was the one shutting sh*t down. But do give Bron props though for shooting another 3 after missing the first one.

This is where the Heat break down too. Lebron on TP is mandatory for game 7. But whenever chalmers or wade is guarding Leonard, they don't box out. That's why he had so many key tip ins and putbacks.

fukking Wade fukking up on both ends :merchant:

You realize in the 4th he assisted or accounted for like 20 or so points in a row right broskie?

bottomline if ray ray miss that shot not only do the heat lose but lebron woulda been gettin blamed for choking regardless of what he did in the 4th...one shot changed everybody views but nikkas know what they seen last night

I thought Parker made the 3 in Brons Grill and than blew past him for the go ahead bucket?

Parker was spent with that bad hamstring, thats why Pops Subbed him out late.

Pops lost that game, just like Beli he did so many stupid things and no one is questioning him for it.

:mindblown:

That was Chalmers he scored on for the go ahead bucket after a switch. And Parker was 0-of-10 on mid-range shots and 1-of-3 from 3-point range for the game. I don't see why pointing out Parker hitting that lone three on Bron disproves the point being made in this thread.

So factors don't matter anymore? The end ignores the means?

No he didnt.

And he certainly hasn't shut him down at other points in the series.

plenty of times (before last night) Bron has been on Parker and Parker took it to the cup on him for a lay up. i'm not saying Parker was 20 for 20 when Bron was guarding him, but more often than not, Parker was getting by him.
