8 boards is very impressive, but you posted his overrall numbers. 3rd year dudes averaging 17 and 8 is not thread worthy.:rudy:

And you fcked up by putting him in the same "tier" as Pierce. That's disrespectful. I had to step in.

Paul George is having a better year than Paul Pierce. Its not about what they've done over their career. What's hard to understand about it?

It's not disrespectful at all. You acting like Pierce is putting up 24, 6 and 5 or some shyt. nikka shut up

He already made his leap breh

18.8 7rebs 1.2 steals 2.5 assists

20.1 6 rebs 2 assts 1.4 steals

Other small forwards at 21 poised to make that jump to the top tier of sf

Luol Deng

Rudy Gay

Check out the numbers of their leap against the career averages. He aint got no unlimited potential just like they didnt
Which is why I put him right in that class.

Not sure if he'll get out of it, but he's there now.

:manny:

nikkas think every other SF can drop 25 a night once. That's reserved for hall of famers, brehs.
That same thinking is why Memphis gave Rudy that huge deal, it's why the Bulls didnt trade Deng for Kobe.

He needs to have the ability to take over games. LeBron struggled with it early in his career. He has to demand the ball.

This is what i was saying. He has to demand the ball more, especially when he is the only offensive threat on the floor. but like you said it's early in his career.

:pachaha: if u say so.

In 2013, Paul George is outplaying Paul Pierce. It's fact.

George's inefficiency is slightly because he chucks up a lot of threes sometimes, but you have to be woefully ignorant of what he's doing in Indiana. That's really the only downside, sometimes he shoots a little too much, but other than that he's having a breakout season.

and frankly, the stats are irrelevant when you consider what he brings to the table defensively.

He is a legit lockdown wing and way more versatile than Pierce at this point.

Well, I would have thought that presenting his numbers would help Spud out before deeming him "trash" because I'm 100% sure he hasn't watched 1 Pacers game unless it was against Boston this year.

But you're exactly right, numbers aside, his defense is excellent. The thread was made to shed light on George's year, not to bait some random ass fukking Paul Pierce debate.

The only guy in this thread arguing Pierce > George in 2013 is the guy with the Paul Pierce avatar :beli:

But yeah, Paul George owns. Indiana really needs to trade Granger the fukk away for some picks and a PG, because I'm not really confident in George Hill.

Paul George has everything you want in a young SF at the age of 22. Athletic, long, can score, and puts in the effort and intensity on defense.

His name is kind of generic as fukk, though. :yeshrug:

Trust me, I know. I'm a Heat fan here and if Paul George outplaying and out scoring LeBron for most of the game a week or two back wasn't evidence this boy has come up. :wow:

Last year in the playoffs George literally held Dwyane Wade to his worst career professional game as well.

Honestly, I think George is going to be greater than Granger ever has been, he has the potential to develop the same if not more potent offense, and he already is a tough, non-emotional gritty defender. I like his game a lot.
