Paul George is going to be a star. Like a lot of others have said....hes does it all, especially on the defensive end.

Granger is definitely expendable. Granger has health issues, at least 3 more years on his contract and his best days behind him IMO. Anyone think he gets traded or amnestied?? The Pacers are eventually going to have to pay George, and with the harsher luxury tax penalties looming around the corner........

Sure that they will trade Granger before wasting the amnesty clause. Better to try and get some assets back, than to amnesty and get no compensation.

Granger is a very good player. I would take him off their hands for a protected future draft pick.

pacers are a serious threat in the EAST

they have a GREAT coach

there arguably the best defensive team in the nba.. atleast top 3..

there rebounding is elite

they create alot of matchup problems for team like miami..

this team will only get better as the season goes on.. hibberts play will improve

they have all the pieces to reach the nba finals imo.. but to win the finals.. george needs to make that next step in the PO and become there melo/durant the go to clutch player... i think hes very capable of doing this...

PO gon be :ohlawd:

Do you think he's better than Melo ?

Not yet.

I see Melo's ceiling tho. I can't really see George's yet. Not to say it's higher or lower, but he's not the offensive focus like Melo. Everywhere Melo has played, he's been the center of the offense. Paul George scores a lot for Indiana but it's still mainly a team effort there.

I agree that he's up there. And i put him as a more athletic Deng. I question his ability to pull out the wins in crunch time.

Yeah, biggest knock against him is his "clutchness" IMO.

Are George's numbers suppose to be impressive? lol at these 20 somthing year old nikkas scoring less and having a lower per than a damn near 36 year old Paul Pierce. :russ:

These "second tier SFs" are trash to me. George is a career role player and nothing more.

:beli: PIERCE>>>>>GEORGE

PIRU IS STILL A TIER 1 SF WHO GETS IT DONE IN CRUNCH TIME.

PAUL GEORGE IS AN ATHLETIC SPOT UP SHOOTER.

For the record, I dont think Pierce is in LeBron, Melo or Durant's league, not at age 35. He was there, but he's too old now. Could he still outplay either of these guys on a given night? Yeah. He was the best SF in the games vs Knicks and Thunder.

I just think these dudes overrate any dude who shows any kind of spark. 2 years from now Pierce might still be in the league and he still might be averaging beter numbers than George.

George is a role player, brehs.

He may not even be in the second tier breh

Bron, KD, Melo (elite level)

Deng, Pierce, Granger (before injury) (2nd or 3rd team All NBA level)

Rudy Gay, George Paul :flabbynsick: (solid role player, can occasionally be confused for being a "star")

Vogel is a good coach, but makes a lot of mistakes with his gameplan and roster movement.

He leaves his bench in too long and allows them to lose games, and has a tendency to abandon a working strategy.

Prolifically Prophetic posting!!!
