That relly doesn't have anything to do with what I said. You can still be called for an offensive foul inside the circle, it doesn't absolve you a foul call. It absolves the player driving to the hole of an offensive charge inside the circle. That circle's sole purpose is to govern offensive charge calls. Im not sure which play you're talking about when Bron got the offensive charge, but if it was the one when Bron ran up the court Nd got a T, then it's legal to make that call if he pushed off in the air or did something to create space in the air. I'm not judging the call, it might have been a bad call, but with the speed of the game, a lot of calls are not accuarate or not called.

My biggest problem is that Bron and the Heat are one of the biggest benefactors of missed calls (especially travel), and what Hinbert is doing is/has been legal by every standard since the beginning of the NBA. The majority of the time the refs get the calls correct, thats why they nitpick 3 or four pictures that look like a foul should have been called. And the other guy said they should be fouls because he's in the circle

It doesn't matter who acknowledged it. The NBA rule book says it's legal

Unfortunately, all the bigs that should be great have had injury issues, but Bynum, Chandler, Oden, Bogut, Dwight, and any big that attempts to block shots does this without getting called for the foul. When Perk was in Boston, it was all he did. Hibbert is only catchin shyt for it because he's 7'2" and it's hard to get over him.

I'm skimming through the PDF of the nba rule book now. We were talking about 2 different things. One dude said you can't contest a shot in the restricted area, Im assuming the other dude was saying it's a foul if there's contact. Both are wrong.

Restricted Area:
The restricted area (RA) is the area within the arched line on the court located below the rim. Its purpose is to stop secondary defenders from taking a position under the basket in an attempt to draw the offensive foul when a player is driving to the basket. If an offensive player drives past his primary defender on the way to the basket and a secondary defender comes over, he must establish a legal position outside the RA to draw an offensive foul. If the drive starts inside the Lower Defensive Box (LDB – this is the area from the bottom tip of the free throw circle to the endline between the two 3’ posted-up marks), the secondary defender is legally allowed to be positioned inside the RA. The restricted area also does not apply if the secondary defender jumps in attempting to block the shot, the offensive player leads with his leg or knee in an unnatural motion or uses his off arm to prevent the defender from blocking his shot. The RA does not extend from below the backboard to the baseline. Therefore, if a player drives the baseline and is not attempting to go directly to the rim, the RA does not apply.
