Let's talk about "Tablets" for a minute...

For some reason I'm getting a the urge to buy a Tablet... I have some friends that love theirs and I have other friends that have bought tablets and never use them.

So... what do you Coli member think about Tablets?

1. How many of you guys have tablets?
2. If you have a tablet... what do you mostly use it for...?
3. Which Tablet gives you the best "Bang for your Buck"?
4. How many of you guys think tablets are a wastes of money if you already have a Computer/Laptop and a Smart Phone?

I have a tablet that I hardly ever use. It was a gift...

I use my desktop/phone way more than the tablet and macbook I have.

I'm a tablet owner and have been since the first iPad. I've owned several tablets including the after-mentioned iPad, Nexus 7, iPad mini, iPad Air 1&2 and now the IPad Pro.


90% of my Coli posts are done using my iPad Pro, the other 10% using my iPhone.

I mostly use my iPad for web surfing, email, Microsoft Word, and YouTube. Since the iPad Pro has really nice speakers I also use it for listening to music while I am in the shower.

If you are more on an on the "go" person meaning you'd use it on the train or plane I suggest an iPad Mini, or if you are more budget conscious going with the 7 inch Amazon Kindle Fire which retails for only $49.99.

If you own a Samsung Galaxy phone I would suggest the Samsung Galaxy Tab E which is a 9.6 inch tablet that retails for only $199

I had an ipad for awhile. Ended up selling it because I didn't use it. Use my phone and laptop only.

dont just buy a tablet.

Either get a surface pro or something else that's a 2 in 1 laptop/tablet or touchscreen laptop

I have one tablet.

2. If you have a tablet... what do you mostly use it for...?
I have a lot of music and pictures on it. But I used it way more before when I didn't have a Laptop (to watch animes). Now, I use it to play games or to watch YouTube videos.

It's just a bigger version of my phone without calling/texting

I got a tablet as a gift years ago,i would take it to a pawn shop or sell it,if the person who bought it for me wasn't one of those people who I know would at some point ask "So,is the tablet I bought you still holding up?" if they don't see me ever using it....I love you though mama,u meant well

I still like to feel the keys of a laptop,and I still like the qwerty keypad on a phone....Im Ray Charles with this shyt

I do have a touchscreen phone I got recently,because somebody bought me one even though I specifically asked for the qwerty keypad/non touchscreen in big letters...Mama!I forgive you like I forgave you when you bought me Lil Zane instead of Lil Wayne,guess I'll just have to learn to love it for a while

If you have a phone and a laptop,spend ya money on something else imo,i'm too paranoid to be seen with a tablet out in public,i aint tryna watch my back like that...Plus people I hang around,and places I hang at don't have no damn wifi...my shyt is basically a ipod,and a toy for my daughter,so I cant even put no porno on there.
