Six MVP awards in his first 11 seasons :wow:. Finals MVP at 38 years old in his 16th season (holds the record for longest time span from his first finals MVP to his last and probably his first league MVP to his last). Played in ten finals :wow:. Played on arguably the best team of the 70’s and the best team of the 80’s :damn:. All NBA first team at 40 years old :mindblown:. He averaged at least 3 assists in 15 different seasons while remaining a premier scorer at a position guys didn’t usually rack up lots of dimes from if your name wasn’t Wilt :salute:. 17 straight seasons averaging over 20 points per game to open his career :wow:. Averaged 26 points per game in the 1986 playoffs at 40 years old :wow:. Generally speaking I like to keep the best player argument confined to best of their era since so much changes every 12-15 years in the league, but that sort of longevity to go along with the level of play he maintained was unreal, especially considering he spent 3 years in college as well and dominated s thoroughly in college too. Easily the best player of the 70’s without question and maybe the third best player of the 80’s too.

Kareem has the issue of his best years being during the NBA's lowest point popularity wise and being stuck on some shytty ass Laker teams during his prime years. His winning years mainly came when he was past his prime but still a great player. Plus his game wasn't flashy while Jordan gets bonus points for the flash level. And the longer people see a player past his prime the easier it is to forget them when they were at their top level. Jordan benefits a lot from that since we only saw two years of his after he had fallen off instead of the 5-6 years of steady decline we see from most great players.

Ain’t you the one who always shyts on Curry for being outplayed in the Finals/not winning any FMVPs?? But y’all callin some fraud who was the best player in only 1 of the 7+ Finals series he was in GOAT?? :mjlol:

Old man played in an era so weak before Magic came and saved his ass he won one of those MVPs with a 40-42 record as he “led” the Lakers straight to the lottery :russ: Calling this guy GOAT but he couldn’t even make the playoffs for 2 different seasons in his PRIME years from 75-79; and only managed a “GOAT” 1-2 record in playoffs series that he did manage to crawl into during that time. Then Magic got drafted, carried his ass to a ring winning FMVP his rookie year, all while feeding Kareem to his career high FG% for a season and 4 more rings after that.

KAJ ain’t even the best CENTER of all-time, don’t disrespect real GOATs putting him anyhwere near #1, shyt is insulting :scust:
