sneaker culture in general annoys me because i can't just get a pair of shoes that look cool, some a$$holes are gonna use bots and buy up the "limited"(lol) stock and sell it on ebay the next day for $500 and rinse and repeat for the same shoe next month

Yeah That was pretty bad. I remember when they dropped I had a connect in the city and got the Blinks and Zen Greys for 230 a piece.
I just sold them for 3800

Yeah this camping for kicks phenomenon is definitely recent , shyt I remember as late as 09 all the retro that are damn near 300/400 now were at the most 150 and it was enough in stock . I remember in 2007 when I was starting the 6th grade , I went to cop the red ,green and black spizikes and them shyts was only like 120 now they're 300

That's how it goes. Weird to say, but the reason I never got into reselling was because I had a bit more respect for the culture itself and never wanted to be a part of it. But the way I see it now,

That's not the retail price though. But yeah it's stupid.
But I will say some shoes appreciate in value so I supoose it's an investment to some people.
