the low end. southside chi
Roode is legit and has been for a while, when he turned on James Storm and started his run he was easy to buy into. He had the X's and O's before he arrived in NXT

TNA just couldn't add that extra garnish to him the way WWE did with that theme and presentation. Those glorious bombs put him over the top because people got to connect to him
all wwe did was give him that theme
hes doing the it factor gimmick

shyt is wild

I didn't like him in TNA in Team Canada and when he started getting his main event push but he definitely won me over in time. He's above average and will be an asset on the main roster. We are blessed to live in the glorious era

do you think the Glorious gimmick has that kind of potential? :leon::lupe:

If they want the IC title to have relevance...strap it on Bobby Roode, let him cook with it for YEARS putting on great matches with everyone in the division:

DZ
Miz
Ambrose
Crews
Harper
Ryder
Corbin
Fandango :mjlol:
etc. etc.

and have him win some by dominating, have him win some by cheating, have him win some by the skin of his teeth etc. He is a very good wrestler who can pull off any type of win and look believable. You do that for a year plus and the WM match for the title with whoever they decide to beat him would have a big time feel.

I have never really understood how y'all cream yourselves over a dude's entrance/theme.
Especially when its guys who you admit to not caring about until he got a certain entrance.
And you could see Roode's potential when he was part of Team Canada and he was able to hold his own in his first solo feud against Booker T. After that he was totally legit as both a singles and tag wrestler.
Dude is a complete wrestler.

ill answer this honestly

i personally have envisioned myself coming out to my own theme

when my roommate had WWE2k14 i made a wrestler who came out to this who was basically built the same way as Roode

The entire presentation about a wrestler matters. Theme, entrance, the way they move, workrate, their strikes, mic skills, etc. it all matters. This CHARACTER of which the theme is an integral part of is major.

In nxt he changed his finisher and got the crowd acclimated to his theme and character. I was opposed but now i i am with the move. he should leave very very soon though....
What does it matter if he changed his finish and theme and character, this could have been done in WWE and he could have gotten acclimated in a few dark matches.

NXT is developmental, no need to put a vet down there who can go in WWE and tell a story. Same with Storm, storm should have been in the WWE not NXT.

...and they developed a character there.

Thats the purpose of nxt for a vet.

But if the guy is a bum not even the best entrance/theme in the world can make him better.
Give Chinless Ellsworth that theme and he is still a loser, just a loser with a nice entrance theme.
Dudes are in here acting like Roode would be garbage without the entrance and theme.

NXT isn't required at all for a vet, stop man, they didn't put AJ in NXT. They can create a new character in WWE just like they used to do before NXT give him a new gimmick and send him out.
AJ is absolutely exceptional and he developed who he is in NJPW. If he came from TNA straight he probably could've used a few months in nxt.

It isn't required but it can help for sure.
