even though I don't believe in the bible, I think it is referring to psychopath and sociopaths, especially psychopaths who are basically spawns of satan

Most of the stories are taken from other cultures. So you are correct,no telling who was passing down what to who or inspired by who. And who was the first to pass it down etc. Not to mention how many civilizations were destroyed by war and natural disaster. There are ultimately missing pieces. This is why I dont take the bible literally,along with the fact i simply dont think its meant to be read that way. To me its just a record of human conscience. Thats something that obviously doesnt change much throughout time. As those behaviors are observable today. If you take what YOU can observe and experience.And what there is observable science behind, its hard to go wrong with the bible.

Also wouldnt you agree the Sumerians are the most influential?

but I do agree largely with what youre saying

this is why I tell people to go back and reread passages in the Bible...the divine mystery...is how the patterns in the bible end up being observed in real life. Part of this I believe is by mans design..but because it came from a source (Genesis)

its complicated but so are other holy texts. The Bible is unique in the way its written (The lord spake unto me etc)

The smart man skips to Jesus, learns his perspective then reread other parts of the bible with that thought process (the word itself is alive and speaking...not just the writer)
