If he played at UCLA for a year and was solid, he'd get drafted. Lavar overplayed his hand and didn't give the boys a chance to prove themselves. Daddy wanted to leverage Lonzo's success into getting the other two over, but he moved too quickly. Honestly should have let LiAngelo go overseas (after the incident in China) and then had LaMelo stay in the U.S. and get a year at a top school. He was trying to get the bag but wanted to limit their risk/exposure. Probably more confident in Lonzo's ability than the other two....especially LiAngelo.

He needed at least 3 years at UCLA or any D1 school imo to move the needle in his favor.. at least to be considered a late 2nd rounder. You guys are underestimating the other players wanting to turn pro/playing high level college ball. This draft is stacked. Even those Martin twins at Nevada are considered 2nd rounders and they've balled the fukk out this season.

What is the level of completion over there? MarShon Brooks is averaging 25+ overseas but couldn’t get burn in the league. Just because a dude can shoot overseas doesn’t mean he can shoot in the league.
