my 10 high school reunion is near. im 27.

these 2 dudes i went to high school with, they both took risk to become ''actors". i check out their imdb and twitter from time to time. i see these mother fukkers traveling overseas to like london and paris. they shooting straight to dvd type movies but having small roles and popular CW, ABC, NBC tv show credits. but still ...

im sitting here working this shytty ass job and i graduated college how the fukk they doing better than me blows my mind. they doing what they want to do

not just them. i ran into another kid a graduated high school with yesterday and telling me what he was up to. i did way better than this kid in school and he gotta better job and making way more than me .

i swear to god brehs, i seriously want to quit my fukking job and start my own business or something. i feel like im fukking stuck here in South Carolina.

yeah i hold my head up but that aint shyt. i work 50 hours a week doing something i dont want to do. theres no work/life balance. i dont want a normal job. i feel like this shyt aint fair and i seriously feel that i got nothing going here.

If you dont like ur job, go back to school, get another degree in something else.

The people ur talking about took, as you said, risks. Sometimes risks are rewarded. Sometimes sleeping in ur car or living w/ ur parents or mutiple roomates while ur pursing a dream turns into something big vs playing it safe.

At the end of the day, don't compare yourself to other people so often tho. You'll always find people with more than you and never know what they had to go thru to get it.

If you wanna travel, get five large together and some in case of emergency money and then go travel for six months.

Your situation will get better with time stop cryin.You can be 27 unemployed,homeless,in debt no skills no hope or have some terminal illness or have kids,parents,siblings,family etc who are on deathbeds

i dont want to travel. i traveled overseas several times. i don't know what im looking for but i dont want to stick to mid level sh't for the rest of my days. i want department head/director/executive sh't. this shyt aint as easy as you think. not to mention if i did get that, i wouldn't want it in the field im in now

making threads like this won't improve your life any better. figure out what it'll take to achieve your dreams and hustle until you either fail or succeed. sitting at home, crying on the coli won't do shyt for your station in life, and you certainly aren't going to get any sympathy for us.

Breh, think about what they did to get those roles. Not even trolling but a lot of the higher ups in Hollywood make new aspiring actors do homo things to get acting roles, Hollywood is a very sick place. Sure you may not be as successful as them but at least you didn't need to suck dikk to do it. So you won breh, you fukking won!
