Breh, think about what they did to get those roles. Not even trolling but a lot of the higher ups in Hollywood make new aspiring actors do homo things to get acting roles, Hollywood is a very sick place. Sure you may not be as successful as them but at least you didn't need to suck dikk to do it. So you won breh, you fukking won! :krs:

lets be real. they aint women and they literally aint doing gay shyt. pretty sure their casting agencies got them what they doing. and it aint hollywood. its the cw/wilmington and new york

Save money, look for other job opportunities (especially if you're willing to relocate), and make goals and plans for a five year span... at least you have a degree and a job bruh... most people don't hit their stride until their 30s; your friends got lucky....you're on the right track because you're not comfortable being mediocre.

I'm willing to bet you likely make more than your actor friends, btw. And that life will have you burned out quick, especially if you're not making great money. They probably aren't happy themselves.

my 10 high school reunion is near. im 27.

these 2 dudes i went to high school with, they both took risk to become ''actors". i check out their imdb and twitter from time to time. i see these mother fukkers traveling overseas to like london and paris. they shooting straight to dvd type movies but having small roles and popular CW, ABC, NBC tv show credits. but still  ...

im sitting here working this shytty ass job and i graduated college :pacspit: how the fukk they doing better than me blows my mind. they doing what they want to do :deadhorse:

not just them. i ran into another kid a graduated high school with yesterday and telling me what he was up to. i did way better than this kid in school and he gotta better job and making way more than me :pacspit:.

i swear to god brehs, i seriously want to quit my fukking job and start my own business or something. i feel like im fukking stuck here in South Carolina. :sadbron:
So you mad cuz they doing better than you? :beli: Look at your life, look at your choices, breh.

I hear ya. They don't want to hear it. But u can be the super talented and not have a damn thing go in ur favor. Meanwhile talentless hacks running rapid getting rich. Look at kin kardashian. No talent. Even in the sack. Just looks good but things fell her way and she capitilzed. Just keep goin breh. We ain't all gonna get what we want out of a career. But there are plenty drugs to be taken p*say to f*ck to make life worth living. They say hard work get u there. That BS. U need a string of luck that most successful ppl aren't willing to admit. Luck plays a major part. Don't ask the successes who worked hard. Ask the failures who did.

:rudy: i guarantee you. you flipping channels and see a guy you went to school with on a tv show. you would be jealous too
But there's no need to be jealous. Just get out there and get your thing going on. It might be that you're realizing that it's time to make moves before it's too late. There's plenty of dudes over 35 with dreams they never followed. Don't fall into that trap, breh.

Question is, what exactly do you want to do and why do you think you can't do it?

I wouldn't. How about being happy for them? How about wanting to befriend them to get advice and possibly connections? How do you even know they are happy doing what they do? There are plenty of musicians and actors who are dead because of their own doing. You think shyt is that sweet?

A hating, jealous ass nikka is his own worse enemy.

yeah i hold my head up but that aint shyt. i work 50 hours a week doing something i dont want to do. theres no work/life balance. i dont want a normal job. i feel like this shyt aint fair and i seriously feel that i got nothing going here.

Breh stick with that job n stack ur bread for 3 or 4 years. Idk how much u making right now, but if ur in position to save 25k a year, do it. In three years you'll be 30. Buy an existing business ( start ur own if ur a risk taker) that's successful. You'll have 75k/100k and whatever the remaining balance is u can take out a loan. Be your own boss. I'm 24 and that's the road Map I'm following cuz that 9-5 shyt isn't life.

My homies clown me cuz I currently don't have a life right now cuz all I'm doing is working and not spending any of my money, but hey I got a plan in life.

And sometimes u gotta sacrifice a few years of your life living how most of ur peers ain't willing to live so u can spend the rest of ur life living how a majority of your peers won't be able to live

It's good that you have this mentality in your 20's. Very impressive...

Threadstarter, do you have an idea of a business you want to start? If not, start gathering ideas and also stacking some bread. I would say you'll need an emergency fund of at least 3 months to live off while you grow your business.

My goal is to have 6 months before I step out but during the time I'm stacking I'm developing a business plan as well. Make sure you have it planned out before you say fukk your job. And you could always look for another job or if you're single consider moving to another state.
