I went there a couple years ago and all the black people looked straight outta final fantasy, I was in the city tho so mostly students and art crowds

Regardless, no one wants to visit no grimey areas when they visiting a city, y'all can keep that shyt, I'd rather walk away thinking the shyt is safe and full of hoes to run through than going on a hood safari

I’ve said this before, but Puget sound has no hoods per se but there is still a extremely large education/wealth gap here in the region. Black folks and Mexicans are at the very bottom of the economic ladder here and in regions like Renton, North Seattle, Rainier Valley, White Center, Kent, Tukwila, Tacoma, Everett, Mountlake Terrace, Spanaway and Lakewood is where you see the highest concentrations of fukkery.

Mostly burglary and theft but increasingly gun violence.

And keep in mind that’s me only counting teenagers and young adults who are of the working poor class I’m not counting the fukkery that the transients and addicts contribute to.

One of my mentors is originally from Central District in Seattle, People from Seattle remind me of SF in the sense that it was pockets of Blackness in a city that wasn't culturally Black, and the projects dominated the "image" of Blackness there. It's not a Black city but if you lived in certain pockets it was a city within a city.

Central District/Yesler Terrace was the main Black neighborhood back in the day but it gentrified decades ago.

bru im not hyping up seattle as some hellhole. i specificlly said there are no hoods here. but property crime is a significant problem here and Seattle very much has the same issues that plague other cities just without the concentration of poverty and not many routes to ship guns in.
