Step back and look at the dynamics of your individual relationships. If you have someone in your life that's constantly complaining about things that are messed up, but when it's your turn they don't listen, you might want to reevaluate that relationship.

Also, if you give them advice and they never follow it or apply it, they don't want the situation to change. All they want to do is complain. You might want to reevaluate that relationship too.
