Actually white men do find black women attractive according to a variety of polls. But it's usually specified to light skin women. Halle Berry for instance.

In terms of colorism I think you're misquoting me. In the US colorism was less of a problem during Jim Crow and the Civil Rights Era. If you couldn't pass you were fukked regardless. Obviously other countries weren't the same. I'd argue colorism in the US has been worse over the last couple decades.

What! Some major Black universities didn't start accepting darkskin Blacks until the 50's. Lightskinned Blacks segregated themselves INSIDE the Black community for the longest in all sorts of ways. Ever heard of the paperbag test? Check out Otis Graham's book.

Ultimately the biggest victim of colorism is dark girls, that's just a fact. Dark guys may get clowned by some people but overall have far less of an issue with dating.

I watched the full documentary & there were some things I definently could have done with out.

-The idiot who tried to imply that lighter girls somehow endure more sexual abuse.I'm surprised they didn't edit that out.

-Nya Lee who talked about the incidident of her getting stabbed.WTF?How does she know for a fact,those girls stabbed her all because she was "light skin?"& I feel like that's how many of these narratives of darker girls picking on lighter girls go.The lighter girl in this situation assumes the darker girl said something to her or "picked," on her because she is light,when it could have been for ANY reason.Nya Lee clearly has an attitude and she had the nerve to blame her life threatening incident on her being light?This assumption that a darker girl doesn't like a lighter girl because she is light is complete bull sh*t.Unless the darker girl explicitly implied the dislike for the lighter girl by saying commentary regarding her skin tone,you can't not assume the lighter girl got picked on simply because she was light.This mentality feeds into the idea that if a darker skin girl dislikes a light skin girl it has to be because of jealousy right?Because why wouldn't the darker skin girl be jealous?*rolls eyes.
