Dame was begging Dray to go to Portland not that long ago. The majority of teams would've moved heaven and Earth to get him when he was in his prime.
Their window has closed, it's as simple as that.
Given their extensive dominance, especially in the manner that it unfolded, I can't help but feel no franchise wanted to willingly hand them star players over the last couple of years.
