honestly the sequels have ruined Final Fantasy XIII for me. they were totally unnecessary.
i still fondly look back at the ending of XIII when you witness the event that the logo of the game depicts and it blew my mind. i was feeling like wow they told me the ending before i even played the game and i had no idea.
sure XIII-2 was a better game overall (well not the story but the actual game play) and the ending was shocking but i still feel like it shouldn't have been made.
LR looks like pure shyt in the story department. i'll but it but i fully expect to be disappointed.

so Square has shown both Fang and Vanelle are in this game and mentioned Caius is back as well. all they gotta do to spoil the rest of this game is announce a quest to undo Serah's death.

The combat is on point but i think alot of people will have issues with the way xp is gained because its gained by taking on quests, not so much combat.
Win b probably wont like the story.
this game is too open ended. it has the opposite problem of XIII. I can already tell i'm gonna have to do more than one playthrough to beat it. you only have 6 days till the world ends. you can spread that to 13 but i wasted the whole first day trying to figure out what to do. there's 5 main quest which i assume are related to Vanille, Sazh, Snow, Fang, and Noel but you have all these side quest and that's the only way you can increase your stats is to do side quest. the clock is always counting down so time is against you. i assume if you don't do enough side quest your stats will be too low to beat the bosses and you'll run out of days.
