For as expertly as NBA markets it’s players, they’ve done all time bad business with WNBA. It was their job to define it before the public does.
when Liz won scoring champion, was that even broadcasted or shared on social media?

theres ESPN owned shows like jalen and jacoby that dont even report things like this. I aint see shyt talking about Aja Wilson winning DPOY but shyt like players of the week/month get a fair bit of attention

NBA is putting out their schedule tomorrow same time WNBA playoffs start. It makes little sense to me

What kind of marketing can you do for an inferior product though

It’s not like the average person is unaware of womens basketball. It’s just not interesting and worth the effort of watching.

You can market it all you want, it just sucks.

They need to lower the rim, and maybe change the rules to make it more exciting.

The women don't want them to lower the rim cause it's like some type of acknowledgement that they're inferior
As if the fact they play with a smaller ball, have a shorter 3 point line and still shoot far worse on average than the men's league aren't already indicators it's not an equal product

It's weird they're so averse to rule changes to make the game more exciting though like the NBA hasn't had a ton of rule changes throughout history to make things more exciting. Might actually get them a decent paycheck for once so they have to play in money laundering scheme games overseas

Try shooting at a lower rim and you’ll understand why it’s a bad idea

Women tennis is probably the only women sport that has eyes on it

no one cares about the women soccer league or women soccer unless the national team is playing.

women baseball or softball? last time I heard of that was when jenni finch was throwing and she's prob like 50 now

women hockey no one cares about it unless us/canada is playing each other and even then no one cares.

Literally the only time people care about women sports besides tennis and the olympics is when the national teams are playing
