tbh breh, these past couple years actually been Chicago's safest in decades. since like the damn 60s lol. because overrall crime rate of the whole nation is down, it's just that chicago happens to be the worst. here are the list of homicides the last 6 years
2009:459
2010: 452
2011: 431
2012:509
2013: 422
2014:425
2015: 81 so far
those are bad huh? but check out the early 2000s
2000: 627
2001: 665
2002: 648
2003: 651
and now look at the early to mid 80s
1981: 877
1982: 668
1983: 729
1984: 741

1986: 740
and finally the early to mid 70s
1970: over 800
1971: over 800
1972: over 800

Chicago is bad today, but like i said crime rate on all levels has been going down every year. it aint like the past, but it could be better, and it indeed is getting better

If you're content with those numbers then I dunno what to tell ya
and I don't want to be anywhere near anyone who thinks those numbers are fine
I could easily be one of those 300+ per year, So I'm not really stressing the single digit numbers of a cac/asian/whatever killing me, I'm sure it can happen, its just less likely to do so.

those def arent all black people tho, prolly around 60 to 70 percent. the reason the 70s was the worst decade was because that was when there were HELLA white gangs too, along with black and hispanic. About the 80s is when white gangs started to decline because of white flight i'm guessing. You gotta also take into account Chicago's huge hispanic gang population as well

naw i'm telling you chicago is a safe city for you, because these arent random killings. black people dont kill eachother randomly like terrorists breh. these are targeted killings because you know, these are gang wars. since when has a black gang gone boko haram and shot up a bunch of innocent people? innocent people sadly get killed but i'm just saying, these are wars with two or more clear sides breh. these nikkas dont care that it's black on black, because they dont see it that way, they see it as those nikkas down the block are moving in on our drug money, and theyre taking our turf, so we gotta kill them. they dont care if it's rival whites, hispanics or blacks. it's sad but that is the reality of the vast majority of black on black murders, theyre gang related.
if over 90% of blacks or hispanics and whites killed in chicago had prior convictions, that means that the vast majority of homicide victims are in gangs(which is the truth every single year in Chicago) that means that Chicago gangs have a more accurate chance of correctly killing an enemy than the damn US military targeting insurgents in the Middle East LOL. there are like 800,000 black gang members in the US out of 45 million blacks. to bring "black on black" crime down, we gotta bring down the fact that blacks are often pigeon holed into turning to the gang life for money.
