I just seen that Nas was #1 in 15 countries, I thought he actually was #1, which would be classic :leon:. Not #1 rap album :scusthov:, the #2 is like Take Care and it was released last year. Where are they getting the 46 from?

i think 46 was a joke my dude.

I don't think Ross has ever even completed a single thought in his raps. I'm a fan, but compared to LIG and R.A.P. Music, the lyrics just pale in comparison. Ross definately has a place, but I'll probably come back to his album in a few months. Other than Amsterdam I haven't really been moved by GFID.

Negro please, we all know GFID isn't as good as LIG or Killer Mike's only album that's been above average. You must be skimming through music if you don't feel involved in any track whatsoever from an artist who's collabed with the likes of Jay-Z and Nas. I'm not gonna try to force emotion out of you, but I for one can't say a chorus like Rich Forever or a tale from Triple Beam Dreams don't bring anything to the table for me, or maybe a trap song like So Sophisticated won't get me amped up.

Rich Forever was one of my favorite albums this year. Ross is dope. But when I hear "911" or "Hold Me Back" or "So Sophisticated" it just sounds kind of dumb. Like, why am I listening to this when LIG exists? I'll probably feel differently in a month, but for now I definitely feel where Duval is coming from.

it's dope overall, was the best hiphop album until this month which doesn't say a lot but it's a dope album.

Check some reviews if you read those type of things

I'm not talking about the mixtape, I'm talking about the song Rich Forever, that's on the deluxe version of GFID.

Plus, that whole "why am I listening to this" can be applied to mainstream hip hop anyways. Why would you listen to Watch The Throne when you got Kendrick Lamar? Yeah I understand what Lil Duval was trying to say, but obviously most of it was for effect. You think basketball players listen to MF DOOM or some shyt before the game? Naw, every songs serves a purpose. Asking why you're listening to this when you got this is like asking why am I eating from a spoon when I got a fork.

It's dope as hell, reminds me of early Cube. I actually copped it, and I don't cop anything. :manny:
