I know some states have laws where you can legally squat if a person leaves because of debt. And the only way for the owner to get their house back is if they pay off all their debt
Obviously Wayne doesn't have money problems, but it might be some squat laws in N.O.

Yeah that's kind of what I was referring too. There's gotta be some kind of a real estate comeup in that area, you should be able to get those houses for next to nothing

true...all those homes seem pretty much still very livable...maybe the whole aura of the hurricane kept folks away
