Philly is what a working class city should feel like. It's a city for all people and it welcomes all (if you act right). If ur some pretentious, stuck up, bougie person then this city ain't for you, and that's what I love about this city. It still feels like a real city, and hasn't lost the aura which made it that way. Manhattan and Brooklyn should take notes.

Manhattan and Brooklyn were not exactly nice spots back in the days, Manhattan was business, opulence, shady and crime and Brooklyn was just hard. Right now it's a city with a lot of things for every single one. If you want that hard shyt, there's a lot, if you want working class there's a lot but a bit further from the city, if you want to ball out there's a lot, clubs a lot, business a lot, hipster shyt a lot, tourism a lot, culture from any nation a lot and on.

The diversity is what makes NY so different from the rest of the nation, of all the cities I've been to I would say that only London comes close in terms of that.

There's plenty of nice things to do in philly as far as restaurants, events and what not but the club scene is DEAD and that's what Lil Wayne was referencing in his tweet.

In any other city he can get like 60k for a walk through and an official after party.....not here because promoters don't want to take the risk when people aren't showing up to the clubs and spending money the way they did in the early 2000s. You literally can't sustain anything of quality here for long periods of time because the small young urban professional crowd just doesn't go out every week and the "hood" crowd which is the majority of philly, ruins things quickly.

I had a spot where I spun at and we catered to the young professional crowd. Someone got stabbed......hood took over and it was never the same.

Remind me of what happen to my hidden spot PYT that had the dance floor in back. Hood nikkas fukk it up and someone got shot n killed smh. I avoid all hood spots seriously.

lol PA on the whole is boring. I know. I'm from there. This is the main reason I moved to Vegas.

WTF u talking about?? Aint nobody talking bad about Philly I love my city but I hear people everyday say its nothin to do here at night. It aint many club options, our strip club scene is trash, and walking up and down South Street is for kids. For us to a major city we should have more things goin on

Its stuff to do at night unless they just one of those club types then nah. I'm talking about what I'm talking about if you don't understand its ok my typing might have been off. It happens I don't goto strip clubs so I can't speak on that at all though but I don't feel a lack of stuff to do at night but again most seem limited in whats poppin for them so maybe we're both right.

Lil Wayne cancels show because he won't give up his guns

Lil Wayne recently canceled a show in Philadelphia because the security at the venue insisted he give up his guns. Weezy told venue security he had a gun for his own protection and a concealed-carry permit. After they insisted on confiscating them, he feared they were setting him up for a shootout with a "long-standing rival" and cancelled the show.

He told Complex magazine:"
I know the n**ga I'm beefing with is out there, so when security at the show told me, 'We gonna search y'all,' it was like, 'Nah, we ain't goin' in there. That's a set up.' "(We said) 'Y'all can have your money back, and call me phony or whatever. I ain't scared, I'm saving my life.I agree with this move- but Wayne will be taking lots of heat for over this. He is obviously talking about his beef with Gillie. I wouldn't want to walk into this situation. Maybe Wayne should stop beefing with dudes...

On a totally different note, here is "Weird Al"'s interview with Kevin Federline. Also, I know you don't want to miss K-Fed wrestle John Cena.

I would be mad and want to beat up someone like John Cena if my wife was cheating on me with J.R. Rotem. For the record, I guess J.R. Rotem also was a little involved with Paris while he was working on her album too.

Philly poverty rate is close to 40 percent but have one of the richest suburbs in America, richest corporations and city government. Shyt is sad man.

Man people in Philly can't even go to them schools lol. UPENN IS LIKE 50k, LaSalle 35K, Drexel 45K. Penn St is in central PA about 4 hours away. Pennsylvania is a country southern state stuck in the northeast. Just think West Virginia in central PA and western PA.

penn/drexel ppl got bars right in the surrounding area (uni city) or they'll go out in center/old city somewhere.
