I think he should’ve released OG CV as a mixtape then dropped an updated CV for 2018

Well if you remember the Free Weezy Album was supposed to drop alongside the OG C5 so I think the idea was to drop 2 albums from the beginning.

Some of these songs are 4 to 5 years old like the Travis Scott track so I think most of the OG C5 is here.

The goal originally was to drop FWA one week and C5 the following week/weeks after that.

FWA IIRC was a bunch of songs Wayne didn't want on C5 because of royalties and legal issues. Pretty sure I remember seeing a Gudda/Mack interview talking about this

There's alot to critique Wayne about but in this era of mumble/autotune garbage that's popping now you just have to be appreciative that there's dudes like him still left in the game that have the so called "old school" philosophy of being able to ACTUALLY SPIT and rhyme words together well


Not many artist even care about that sh1t anymore. So as someone that used to hate on Wayne for his lack of substance back in the day I'm just glad sum nikkas is still spitting at this point and carrying on that linage that dudes like Kane, Rakim and G rap made important
