Nah. Wayne fooled you dummies with the power of persuasion. He called himself the best alive until the mouth breathing masses believed it.
He ran the weakest era in hip hop with special ed punchlines.
Wayne acting like he deserves to be mentioned among the elite emcees of all time is bugged the fukk out.

Why? It's the coli where nikkas hate just to hate....
Add in the amount of cacs on here and look what you get

Actually everyone critiquing Wayne has actually done so.
within the confines of selling out weezy made it legal to publically critique him in.
If he was a more cultural based artist.
He would be critiqued seldomly.
if ever rarely on very few of his shortcomings in any aspects.

All cultural emcees are based on actually having and being emcees as a pillar and craft.
Plus are more than likely completely thorough culturally.
Unless they are trying to appeal back to the hardcore from previously selling out.
In the case of weezy.
We are not sure if he is or ever was an emcee.
As it became obvious he never penned much of his material.
Or, weezy style morphed and bit off another talent.
Instead of grooming the further along talent, weezy is styles morphing/biting and using as a ghostwriter for.
into whatever it is the a&r and exec saw in weezy they could sell.
Instead of trying to force a project past cultural based ideals and ethics in the business of rap that is acceptable.

So, in the case of weezy,...
Since we don't know if he is really an emcee or not.
As he has just shown to be a child star who is a voice over artist like Pixar.

Till weezy actually appeals culturally and really learns to rhyme on his own.
on as real an advanced level as he failed and Continues to fail to do and recreate as a voice over artist.
Plus show some actual application to the actual culture of hip hop.
past the industry mislabeling a culture into a genre of the rap business.

When weezy does that weezy can escape critique.
as severe as weezy precipitates when weezy violates culturally.
Then hide behind jiggy sentiments and numerous other non-culturally accepted ways and acts publically.

I'm not even a Cash Money fan....but the dudes influence alone makes him a new school legend

If influence makes you a legend, then Bieber is a legend. We are talking about albums that are helmed to have lyrics, production and content that can be played 10, 20 years down the line.

I can bump The Roots "Illadelph" album to this day.

Weezy's gw core output was no better than sondoobie and was also ten to twenty years dated as well to sondoobie as well.

This is simply just a good song, and nothing more. The problem with Wayne fans is that they were ":whew::whew::whew::ohlawd::krs::ooh::ohlawd:" every time something dropped, terribly over-hyping the most basic stuff. He dropped that "best rapper alive" stuff and people and they drunk the kool-aid and dove off a cliff with him. At his "prime" he was nothing special, basically the southern equivalent to Juelz Santana or Fred The Godson.

thats exactly what i told my boys
