I wonder if Wayne is going in a darker direction with his music, I mean for the all the success he's had in his life, we sometimes forget the struggles that he has had to deal with before and during the success, I think he's talented enough to tap into that instead of trying to tickle the charts.

Lil Wayne stopped by The Nine Club and announced that he has a new project, Funeral, on the way. "Just make sure they know that Funeral is coming soon," Wayne said towards the end of the interview. When asked what Funeral was, he confirmed, "That's my music."

There's no release date yet, but Tunechi was able to leave fans with a lot to look forward to in the future. "I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon. If you are a Wayne fan, I know we been going through tough times right now, but if you're a Wayne fan, we bout to hold our heads high," he promised.

The hour long interview with Chris Roberts, Roger Bagley and Kelly Hart covered plenty of other topics including how his Cash Money deal originally came together, his Miami rooftop skatepark, his career success, and much more.

The rapper has been going through a very public feud and $51 million lawsuit with his label Cash Money, and the label's founder, Birdman. Weezy has been distancing himself from Birdman and alleging that there is no hope for a reconciliation, constantly calling out the label at his shows. The pair were reportedly close to tying their legal battle up earlier this month, but TMZ reported that Wayne shouting out Roc-A-Fella instead of Cash Money during his Camp Flog Gnaw performance made Birdman call the whole negotiation off.

More bad news hit over the weekend when Weezy's scheduled Curacao show was canceled. TMZ reported that the rapper canceled the show because of a seizure, but Wayne's camp said the performance was canceled because of business reasons.

It sounds like Wayne's fans can expect to hear some good news from him soon. Watch the full interview above.

I just remember that I was on vacation in Atlanta when "We R Young Money Dropped". Weezy at the top of his game, Drake heating up, Nicki blowing up, Tyga on the verge of dropping Rack City. YMCMB was lit. Where did it all go wrong :wow:
