It's pretty smart when you really think about it. People go out of their way to tell you how bad he is and after awhile you kinda just shrug it off. Either you like it or you don't. He isn't like others that have their own fanbases like Uzi or Kodak or 21 Savage. You'll hear people group them as an example of "bad rappers in this generation" or guys that are ruining hip-hop but people will go leaps and bounds to say Yacthy is garbage.

It's pretty funny.:ehh:

Do Rock groups be like so what I can't play these damn instruments old nikkas
Rock bands will full out tell you that current X band is garbage in the name of rock-n-roll.
I've always wanted to know that about other genres. Like, who are the trash equivalents in rock or country?
Old country singers hate country of today. It's currently "bro country" that has taken over and they hate it because it's isn't the essence of country. Rap and country very similar breh.

Old heads don't like Taylor Swift being considered country either.

Well yeah, punk bands back in the day couldn't play as well as guys like Hendrix, Clapton, and all them. They didn't give a shyt about intricate solos and shyt it was about the energy

Very true. And there's even some infighting within the punk rock scene about who's really punk rock (and funny enough it mirrors hip hop). Punk wants to be corporate about as much as hip hop wants to be mainstream

I mean I get what he's saying but he still gon be trash to me so...

Yup I get what he's trying to do too. It's a free country and I reserve the right to call out his wack ass rap skills. And since he admits to not even wanting to be a good rapper I really don't see what the problem is :manny:

Yep, I always thought hip hop and punk parallel eachother, aggressive af, loud, very apparent in the 90's, the era in which Yachty doesn't want anything to do with lmao. And yeah it's cool he defending himself but eh I still don't fukk with him like that
